This year, Humana Nova has been recognized as Croatia’s Sustainability Heroes and has earned a Special Mention by #SMEEnterPRIZE, our initiative fostering a sustainability culture among European SMEs.

This social cooperative empowers disabled or marginalised people by engaging them in the upcycling process of textile materials. Repurposing clothes through sartorial changes and repairs or recovering fabric from clothes that can no longer be used has a direct impact on poverty reduction, more sustainable local community development, and environmental protection.
