In this episode we talk about how to find your natural batting stance. The first thing you need to do is be athletic. Hitting is about transferring energy through our body, our kinetic chain, efficiently, and on time, so that we can make good contact with the baseball and have some power behind our hit. We must be athletic to accomplish this. Another important thing to think about when trying to find your natural batting stance is to make sure it promotes a good swing plane. Swing plane just means we get on the plane of the pitch and we're staying there throughout our swing. Create your body angle, your tilt, your axis, in the beginning during your initial batting stance, this way there is less room for error. The last thing when it comes to finding your natural batting stance you want to make sure your knees are bent and knocked in slightly to create good linear energy, good leg drive, to create more energy in the beginning of the swing.
