Last month, our team completed the erection of a 490’ Sabre Industries, Inc. S3TL self-supporting tower for a large electric utility in Watts, Oklahoma. The achievement was somewhat historical, in that there are currently only 29 of such self-supporting structures in the United States. The tower legs are 47’ apart at the base. The project culminated with the use of a helicopter to stack the upper tower sections. As you can well imagine, this was quite an undertaking. A lot of attention to detail as far as project management, logistics, execution, and safety went into planning this. Congrats to our tower crews, operations team, sales staff, management, and the rest of our team in making this quality installation happen!!
