|| THE GOD OF PEACE || HOW TO HAVE AND MAINTAIN PEACE || PEACE AS A WEAPON! ||
"What are we to think,, when there appears to be a similar number of Scriptures that define God as both a Man of war,, and a Man of peace?? Does God contradict Himself? God is not Bi-Polar"
***A TIME FOR WAR & PEACE***
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven...a time for war and a time for peace" (Eccl 3:1 & 8b)
"God is both a God of War & a God of Peace."
"Jesus is both the LION & the LAMB"
WHO IS THIS (garments stained red)? ~ Isaiah 63
SAME GOD: MAN OF WAR ~ Revelation 19:13-14
[13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
SAME GOD: MAN OF PEACE ~ Isaiah 2:4
[4] And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
As War increases in the land, its time to:

MENTAL STABILITY THROUGH PEACE ~ Phil 4:7
[7] and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
THE LORD HATES VIOLENCE ~ Psalm 11:5
[5] The LORD tests the righteous: But the wicked and him that loves violence His soul hates.
THE EARTH ONCE ENDED BECAUSE OF VIOLENCE ~ Genesis 6:11-13
[11] The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
PEACE IS BORN ON EARTH ~ Luke 2:12-14
[12] And this shall be a sign unto you; you will find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. [13] And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host praising God, and saying, [14] 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth PEACE , GOOD WILL toward men.'
THE PRINCE WHOSE NAME IS PEACE ~ Isaiah 9:6-7
[6] For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon His Shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The PRINCE OF PEACE. [7] Of the increase of His Government and PEACE there shall be no end, upon the Throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The Zeal of the LORD of Hosts will perform this.
THEY WILL LEARN WAR NO MORE ~ Micah 4:3 (Isaiah 2:4)
[3] And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
LION LAY DOWN WITH THE LAMB ~ Isaiah 11:6-9
[6] The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. [7] And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
[8] And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. [9] They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
