Learn how to clean the outer housing, LCD screen, carafe, coffee basket, mesh basket filter, and the shower head. From quick surface wipes to deeper cleans, we share valuable tips for maintaining your machine so you can carry on making great tasting coffee every time.

Always remember to switch your Precision Brewer® Glass off and remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning.

The Outer Housing: (00:23)
1. Firstly, try to avoid hand towels or rough and abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the surface.
2. Apply the cleaner to a soft, clean damp cloth and wipe the outer housing.
3. Then polish using a soft dry cloth.

The Carafe: (00:42)
1. For a light clean, simply rinse the carafe and lid under warm running water.
2. For a deeper clean we recommend regularly cleaning the carafe in warm soapy water using a soft bristle brush.
Tip: Remember to avoid leaving cold coffee standing overnight as this can stain the carafe.

The Coffee Basket & Mesh Basket Filter: (01:00)
1. Be mindful that this may still be hot, so allow both the coffee & mesh basket to cool before removing.
2. Discard any ground coffee and filter paper.
3. Rinse the coffee basket and mesh basket filter under cold running water.
4. Once you have run the mesh basket underwater, inspect the fine holes to ensure they’re clear.
5. For a deeper clean use warm soapy water and a soft bristle brush.

Showerhead: (01:31)
1. Wipe down the showerhead area for an intermittent clean.
2. For a thorough clean, remove the showerhead ring by rotating counter clockwise and then remove the showerhead.
3. Wipe clean and then reinstall.
