Hello folks! Today I will show you the restoration of the Bowie knife. I tried to complete it in a purely classical style of American Bowie knives. My friend asked me to restore this knife. Therefore, tomorrow he will receive it, well, well, we are going to completely restore the knife.

As usual, I cleaned the surface of the knife with a rust remover, washed, dried and oiled. Due to the surface was relatively eaten by rust and there were deep pits. I decided to polish the blade, but without completely removing the dents.
The blade and all the places (bends, holes and the back part) I sanded 80 to 800 grit. with sandpaper.

The handle of the Bowie knife, here I used the classic parts of the composite handle of the Bowie knife. These are brass, black leather insert and deer horn. The guard was also made of brass. The handle of the knife was slightly sanded and polished.

I made the Bowie knife sheath out of thick genuine leather. I also made a rough test of the knife itself, and of course I made a delicious, interesting and pleasant knife test for you, but already in the forest.

Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
