Here’s the thing and what many people won’t tell you. Wages and salaries are taxed as ordinary income which can be over 50% when you take into consideration federal AND state taxes.

So for example, even if you earn $400,000, you could be really left with $200,000 after taxes, which makes path #1 slower to becoming rich.
