You know the talent is deep when elders want to work with a newcomer. Jhay Cortez has been thinking about how he wanted his music to sounds for years now, ever since he was a kid, really. When he hit the professional scene in 2018, the reaction was instantaneous. The Puerto Rican upstart's blend of reggaeton and trap-pop had established stars signing up for feature and giving shout-outs galore. J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Greeicy, Karol G, Ozuna, Sky, Wisin y Yandel - the list goes on and on. Last summer's 'Famouz' was pure fire and the recent "reloaded" version of the project throws more jewels at the fans. We had our DSCVR alum in for a Ctrl session, and he scalded the place.
