In this video, I show you how to locate brush piles for crappie using side scan on the Humminbird Helix 7. It is very important to use all the tools that come with your fish finder, and side scan is probably the most important tool there is. I also show you how to read side imaging, and show what brush piles look like on side imaging. Then I show you how to go back over the brush pile with 2D sonar to throw a buoy out over the brush pile.
