I recently got fiber optic internet with 1 gigabit internet. So I upgraded from a Wireless N router to an ASUS WiFi 6 router. The results were a 10x WiFi speed improvement after upgrading to a WiFi 6 router. I did a shootout between the Asus AX58U, Asus AX82U, and the Asus AX86U to choose my next router. After looking at the options, I wondered if paying extra for a higher quality router made a practical difference. These are a few of my thoughts: My personal favorite was the Asus RT-AX82U because of its cool lights and performance. The best overall performance award goes to the Asus RT-AX86U although the Asus RT-AX82U wasn’t far behind it. Are you looking for a solid budget option? The ASUS RT-AX58U is a great option.
