After what feels like months of waiting, this is John Lewis' Christmas advert for 2019 and Bastille fans are set to be delighted with this year's song choice.

For 2019, it is all about adorable dragon, Excitable Edgar and follows the story of someone who goes the extra mile for their best friend in order to find the right present.


It's the first time the advert will combine both John Lewis and its partner brand Waitrose.

Edgar is an excitable young dragon who almost derails festivities thanks to his fire-breathing excitement.
