After Mike finished the new plumbing he needed to make sure the water lines were air tight. Normally you can do this by turning your water on, but in our case we didn't have HVAC installed yet, and we didn't want the lines to freeze up if it got too cold outside. So, we decided to run an air test.

The concept is really simple. Cap off all of your water lines and then pressurize the system to 80 psi. If you let it sit for an extended period of time, in our case a day, and it stays at that psi, then your lines are air tight!

Do you think Mike got it right on his first try?
