Artist Statement: This is a narrative, classical ballet dance filled with a sense of curiosity and elegance as four individuals try to win over the heart of the prince. The movement of this piece is influenced by Classical Ballet styles. The dancers were inspired by the powerful and clear tempo of the music by portraying this through their movement. The dancers focused on creating a connection between the quality of the music and the movement. Overall, this piece takes an interpretation of mixing Baroque and Classical styles.
