INGREDIENTS
2 lbs beef shank or stew meat
1 small head of cabbage
1 lb potatoes
2 medium carrots
1 or 2 fresh ears of corn
1 small onion
3 cloves garlic
1 dried bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
6 cups beef broth
sprigs of fresh cilantro
6-quart slow cooker
salt and season to taste
