How the story of the 96 Yanks is best told. Kind of like how people argue about the best way to watch the Star Wars films to learn the original story. I say you watch most of Pinstripe Destiny, then stop at the World Series part to watch the official World Series video, then see the end of Pinstripe Destiny so that you get the full sense of suspense during the climactic Fall Classic.

The first 47 minutes is from the MSG video Pinstripe Destiny. The next hour plus is the complete 1996 World Series video. Finally we wrap it up with the World Series recap and finale of Pinstripe Destiny. The reason I did it this way is that while Pinstripe Destiny is fun, cool, informative, and takes you through the '96 season, one of its shortcomings is lack of dramatic narrative. It's so laid back in its storytelling. The World Series video brings the drama and the suspense and the emotion into it, and it's coming from a seemingly objective viewpoint. Like lump-in-your-throat style. But I didn't want to deprive you of seeing the rightful end of Pinstripe Destiny either, so I tacked it onto the end.
