On January 15th, 1892, James Naismith first published the rules to a game he called "Basket Ball". It was a sport he created when he nailed a peach basket to the wall of a gymnasium. Over the next century, basketball became on of the most popular sports on Earth. It has also become, to me, the best sport we have.
