On Friday, July 17, 2020, the Lakeland Fire Department donated over three pallets of @MinuteRice to two area food banks, @KidsPack and @VISTE.

Thanks to a generous donation from @spnsampling, #LFD was able to donate much needed food so that these two amazing #nonprofits can help their clients experiencing food insecurity in #Lakeland. Additionally, #MinuteRice and @spnsampling also provided hundreds of rice cups for the department's very own #firefighters to enjoy at the stations as part of their #MinuteThanksFrontlineHeroes program, designed to thank first responders and healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
