Former PM Liz Truss says massive resistance from the "economic establishment" makes her question whether it was ever possible to deliver her policies, but says she would do it all again.

She tells Julia Hartley-Brewer that a powerful "conservative movement and infrastructure" is needed to take on the "leftist establishment".

Former PM Liz Truss says she supported Net-Zero "at first", until she saw the costs it had for people, "I was trying to appeal to a broad range of people in the Conservative Party... And now, frankly I don't have to keep Conservative MPs on board."

Liz Truss tells Julia Hartley-Brewer the world would be safer with Donald Trump as President, "there's been too much appeasement of these regimes and I believe Trump would stop that appeasement."

Liz Truss also says the LGBT lobby used "emotional blackmail" over gender ideology, "I reacted viscerally to that, because the role of a government minister is to do the right thing."
