Excluded today, discover with Gilles VIDAL the future of Renault

UNIQUE, SINGULAR, PLURAL: A PRECURSOR CONCEPT-CAR
Renault is writing a new chapter in its history with an innovative concept car, both a precursor and
visionary. In its exterior appearance, it foreshadows the future 100% electric family vehicle in the range.
Renault. Inside and on the technological level, it invites to travel in another temporality, in a
future where technologies and innovations will serve a more sustainable and environmentally friendly world.

Eco-design and circular economy innovations, integrating more than 70% of
recycled materials, including several closed loops, and 95% recyclable, contribute directly
to the conservation of resources.
Its hybrid engine, both electric and hydrogen, aims to reduce downtime related to
recharging energy while reducing the carbon footprint, including that of the battery. Renault
Scénic Vision displays zero emissions in production and use, and reduces its footprint by 75%
carbon compared to a conventional electric car.
Embedded technologies offer enhanced safety for the driver and
passengers, reducing the number of accidents by up to 70%. This concept car translates
also, through its design, the desire of the teams to create a unique, accessible and adapted car
to all.
➔ A tailor-made powertrain
Renault Scénic Vision's 160 kW wound-rotor synchronous electric motor comes directly from
that of New Mégane E-TECH Electric. Manufactured by the Cléon factory, it does not use any earth
rare and thus contributes to the reduction of the carbon footprint and the creation of a responsible ecosystem
and sustainable. The 40 kWh battery, recyclable and soon to be manufactured in France within the Gigafactory of
ElectriCity pole, is lighter and less bulky - but also, in fact, cheaper - than for a
equivalent electric vehicle. Its capacity is complemented by a 15 kW fuel cell that facilitates
charging on long journeys. Thus, by 2030 and beyond, when the network of stations at
hydrogen will be developed, long journeys up to 800 km such as a Paris-Marseille (750km) aboard a
motorized vehicle such as Renault Scénic Vision will be carried out without resorting to electric charging, and
with a stop of less than 5 minutes to fill up with hydrogen. Thus, starting from Paris and with
example a stopover for a hydrogen refill in Lyon carried out in 5 minutes, the onboard energy
allows you to follow the path to Marseille.
Complementary to the 100% electric offer, the electric/hydrogen hybrid technology presents
the advantage of combining reduced energy recharging times and a low carbon footprint,
perfect for long family trips. Thanks to the use of green hydrogen, this concept car fits
perfectly in line with Renault Group's carbon-free mobility objectives.
