The 2024 Tesla Model 3 is a refreshed version of one of the UK's most popular electric cars. Similar in size to a BMW 3 Series or Audi A4, the Model 3 in some ways competes in a very traditional sector of the market. However, as a fully electric offering, it has for a long time been fairly unusual in this class.

In recent years we've seen new electric competitors to the Model 3 emerge such as the Polestar 2, BYD Seal and VW ID.7, which is no doubt part of what prompted Tesla to update its midsize saloon.
