1969 HONDA CB750 Sandcast Engine Sound and short test ride. The engine number is 1374 and frame is 1375. The bike is an early left-side-horn Sandcast built in May of 1969. I was able to find records of two other Sandcast cb750s that came with sequential engine and frame numbers, but they were both made after this bike. This only bike known to exist with original paint and sequential numbers below 1001400. I pulled the bike out of storage in 2017 and serviced it in preparation of finding it a new home. The bike has since been sold and is now located in England.

The layout had been used in racing engines prior to World War II.
Honda popularized the configuration with the CB750, and the layout subsequently became the dominant sport bike engine layout.
