Kia EV6 - Secret way to park with Electronic Parking Brake off to prevent sticking brake problem

When it rains the EPB can get stuck on. One solution to avoid this is to park with the EPB off.
In the EV6 MY23 onwards (or MY22 with iPedal update) it’s impossible to park with the EPB off without this little known trick.

This trick will probably also work for other e-GMP cars like Hyundai Ioniq 5 & 6

Notes:-

1) You can tell from the 10th digit of the VIN number.P=MY23 R=MY24 https://www.alldata.com/us/en/support...

2) You do not have to press P first. I only did this to get Parking Brake to on position.

3) In some countries they were given a manual supplement with the iPedal update but not in the UK as far as i know.
