Venezuelan-American comedian, writer, and actress Joanna Hausmann brings some humor to the OFF in NY stage with a comedic performance addressing Nicolas Maduro's authoritarian regime. Hausmann's videos, which first appeared on Univision's bilingual digital platform "Flama”, center on issues of culture and politics in both the U.S. and Latin America. Her work has won her "Best Comedian" and "Creator of the Year" from Hispanicize's 2016 Tecla awards. The Oslo Freedom Forum is a global event series presented by the Human Rights Foundation (HRF).
