In this video I show you how to check the ice mold heater or cube tray on a Frigidaire icemaker. If your refrigerator has stopped making ice but there are still frozen cubes in the tray, the heater on the bottom could be bad.

When the ice cubes need to come out of the icemaker a heater on the bottom comes on for a couple minutes to loosen the ice from the tray so the ejector arm can harvest them out into the ice bucket.

This is one step in the troubleshooting process when you need to fix your refrigerator that is not making ice. Other problems could be a bad water valve or the module on the front of the icemaker could also be defective.
