This is race footage early in Dave MacDonald's career. It was his third race and it was held March 5, 1960 at Pomona Raceway. He's driving the white/blue #288 Corvette. After this race Dave switched to #00 for the remainder of his Corvette races. Other drivers in this video are Mike Jones #161, Buford Lane #614, Tony Settember #58, Andy Porterfield #310 all in Corvettes & Ed Purvis in the #148 Mercedes 300 SL.. That's Dave's wife Sherry and their son Richie at the beginning.
