After a long weekend of practice and racing on some fast and gnarly trails in central Texas, we ended it with a 5.5 mile Excursion Race. So many of us were battered and sore, but didn't want to miss out on the fun. Follow along in my helmet cam as I have stumble after stumble, but keep getting back on board and end up having an insane finish! After getting rear-ended at the beginning pileup and falling on my ass while getting propelled by another board, I had some making up to do. My top speed during this race was 36.7 on my homemade VESC board, and it was clearly a game changer on the straightaways. Time to start working on my leg strength and endurance over the next few weeks before Dirtsurferz in Eureka Springs!
