Check out the updated video here:
   • All Destiny Destination Intros | D1 -...
*****

A video of every destination intro and variant from vanilla Destiny 1 through Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals. I've seen videos with some of the intros, but none with EVERY SINGLE intro that was ever used. That — coupled with the fact that a lot of this content will be sunset — is why I wanted to create this.

This took way longer than expected and I put a lot of love into this, so I hope you enjoy! If you know about any that I may have missed, please let me know in the comments. I hope to update this in the future for newly added content, so if I missed any I can add them then.

Here's some extra info/trivia that I either already knew or discovered along the way, if you're interested:

• Any intro featuring the Derelict will use one of three different pieces of music. All are featured in this video at least once.
• The Moon, Tangled Shore, Titan, Io, and the Dreaming City all have a variety of music that can play during their intros, chosen at random. These are the variants that are labeled in the video.
• The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and Rise of Iron intros were used for their story missions (and strikes for TDB & HoW) regardless of the planet they were on. I just chose each expansion's most prominent activity, with the expansion listed after.
• A few of these only play for specific Crucible matches, such as Upper Stratosphere (Retribution), Foundling's Gyre (The Drifter), and a few more.
• Speaking of Foundling's Gyre (The Drifter), that intro is reused for the Warden of Nothing strike in Destiny 2.
• Felwinter Peak is reused for Vostok.
• Bannerfall is the same for both games. In fact, almost all returning D1 maps in D2 (that are at the same location) use the same intro, the exceptions being Twilight Gap which shares with Midtown, and Widow's Court which now uses EDZ music.
• Destiny 1's Tower and the Bannerfall intros are in fact different, just very slightly different.
• The Scarlet Keep is the only strike between both games that has its own unique intro that isn't used anywhere else.
• The Sundial seasonal activity used Mercury's Past instead of the normal Mercury intro.
• The Haunted Forest used Vex Future instead of the normal Mercury intro.
• The first time we got a unique Tower intro for a seasonal holiday was for Festival of the Lost 2018. The Dawning 2017 didn't even have one.
• There's only one activity for Mercury in Destiny 1 that doesn't have text on the left side of the screen during the intro: the Titan Sunbreaker subclass mission. Which you can't replay on an existing character. So I had to take a new character through the whole game again up to that point, all for seven seconds of footage.
