My brand new Air Conditioning unit was leaking a ton of water and after checking for cracks in the condensation pan, changing air filters, messing with the pump, etc etc, I found out it was the lack of a p-trap the entire time.

This was also after a couple of check-ups from HVAC companies who couldn't really figure it out. This was their 3rd guess and something I had found online as well - turns out this was the issue.

The trap is easy to make or buy with costs around $10 total.
Includes 3/4" PVC pipe with a few Tees, a cap, and a trap.
You'll want a cleanout section just incase and a vent for smooth flow.
