We at Uní Retreats work on several projects to protect the indigenous culture and their villages in the Amazon Rainforest.

Indigenous culture is protection. A strong indigenous community with a preserved culture always results in the protection of the forest in their territory, because the forest is directly related to their culture and spirituality.

Strengthening the indigenous culture also requires an involvement and recognition from non-indigenous people about the spiritual and cultural wealth that Brazil has in the Amazon.

Our Shuhu (hut) at Akasha Village Itaipava-RJ is an extension of the Yawanawá and Huni Kuin territory, where we offer experiences (@uniretreats @guardioeshunikuinrj
@aldeia_akasha) in indigenous culture and spirituality.
