In the aftermath of the Bears taking quarterback Caleb Williams and receiver Rome Odunze in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes took a moment to reflect on how general manager Ryan Poles has completely transformed the franchise since he took over in January 2022. Poles has done in large part because he made one of the great trades in sports history.
