When Little People Big World first premiered, the reality show centered a lot around Amy and Matt Roloff’s marriage. Yet, over the course of the series’ whopping 23 seasons, fans watched the Roloffs’ marriage deteriorate. The union ultimately ended in 2016 when Amy filed for divorce after being married for three decades. The divorce news came as no surprise to many fans who had hoped that Amy would leave Matt for the horrible ways they’d watched him treat her on camera. Fans were even more enraged when they found out that off camera, Matt had allegedly been cheating on Amy with his now-girlfriend. And, even in their divorce after Matt’s indiscretions, he still didn’t put Amy first. While their breakup was the last time that Matt would be a bad partner to Amy, it certainly wasn’t the first. During their marriage, Amy admitted that Matt often made her feel “less than,” and Matt admitted that he wasn’t as committed to the marriage as Amy was. Yikes… Fans also watched as Matt frequently lashed out on Amy and forced her to shoulder the blame. He also became known for letting his pushy nature get in the way and putting the kids in the middle of disagreements. So, what’s really going on with Matt Roloff? Let’s talk about all the times that this Little People Big World star was a big problem for his marriage and why many fans are so happy that Amy has moved on and left Matt behind.
