I am finally sharing the process of making our budget DIY wedding invitations! I'll be sharing all my tips & tricks we figured out during the process - learn how we designed our invites for free, EASILY address envelopes with your printer with mail merge using word & excel, how we managed to print on vellum paper from home, AND how we designed & used our custom wax seal to diy our dream wedding invitation suite on a budget. I did the math, and if we were to have purchased everything already made for us (like no work required other than assembling) we would have spent $1,073.89 for a similar invite suite with separate detail & rsvp pages. We spent a grand total of $328.89 with every supply included from wax, to vellum sheets, to a whole new package of ink cartridges (printer not included😉). These numbers were based on 130 invites ~ I was shocked when I started calculating it all! All that to say, it was a fun process! While it was also slightly chaotic, in the end the results were more than rewarding.
