The history of the 7 deadly sins is a complicated one. From their obscure origins, their evolution changed much of their meanings and also saw sins removed from the list. What were these lost sins and why were they removed?

Beginning with the original thoughts of Evagrius Ponticus and through several other prominent lists, we'll look at their original meanings as well as what became of each one's definition.
