In the aftermath of a botched heist, John Muller finds himself in a precarious game of cat and mouse with the relentless pursuit of Rocky Stansyck, a vengeful gambler hell-bent on retribution. Desperate for refuge, Muller seizes a serendipitous opportunity to slip into the persona of psychiatrist Victor Bartok, a man bearing an uncanny resemblance to himself. However, as he delves deeper into this newfound identity, Muller soon realizes that his troubles have only just begun, plunging him from one perilous situation into another entirely unexpected ordeal.
