The 2023 Citroen C5 X is a car that doesn't know what it's trying to be. Or does it?
The brand itself says it blends SUV, wagon and sedan styling cues, and it certainly stands out from the crowd when it comes to its looks.
But it really is the definition of a 'crossover' - it's not all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD / 4x4), instead it's a front-wheel drive with a petrol engine. It has slightly more ground clearance than a standard wagon, but it doesn't sit nearly as a high up as most SUVs.
It has a bunch of interesting technology and features, and of course, being a Citroen, it's super comfortable.
Matt Campbell test drove the new Citroen C5X crossover to find out what it's like.
