Being one of the most unique abilities in Breath of the Wild, Shield surfing is a really fun, and even practical way to travel across the world of Hyrule!! However, in order to surf most effectively, there are a lot of hidden stats behind this ability that are very practical to know - such as hidden friction properties and different durability consumption ratios that can all change the way you surf in this game. So today, I thought I would go over all of the unique properties I found out about shield surfing through my research, so you can start coasting around Hyrule as EFFICIENTLY as possible!!
