Mike Watt and Vitus Matare remixed it for the original 1987 CD release, one batch allegedly made (said to be 800 copies) then used the original mix for subsequent releases.

It’s got more reverb and some alternate instrument takes...pretty fascinating, but I prefer the original mix.
