Australians and New Zealanders gathered to commemorate the ANZACS this week, as well as Pacific Islanders across the region.

The Indigenous and Pacific contribution is often forgotten, despite renewed efforts to gain recognition.

We take a look at one of these old war-time stories and meet a few of our current service men and women, who’ve been inspired by these legacies.
