This was the 2nd game of a day/night doubleheader at Globe Life Field on October 4, 2022, and the New York Yankees superstar wasted no time, blasting the milestone home run in the 1st inning to set a new American League record. Quick history lesson: way back in 1927, Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs, and in 1961 Roger Maris connected for 61, so this homer by Judge was truly special.
