A lot of people continue to ignore some certain key points of Unity's new fee announcement, so I wanted to make a video to point these out, as they reduce the fee cost. I did not go into the drama and stuff, as a ton of people have already covered that topic 5 billion times already. In the second part of the video I talk about why I switched from Unity (basically what I don't like about the engine itself) and why I chose Godot over Unreal Engine.

For anyone still planning on using Unity, go for it, however don't expect things to go better anytime soon with the current CEO and the board around him. The engineers could make the engine great again, but because of bad practices and decisions by the managers, it's all falling apart.
