Today we're going to discuss about professional entities including professional limited liability companies and professional corporations.

One thing to note between PLLC and PC is that some states recognize professional corporations, but don't recognize professional limited liability companies. In some states PLLCs are recognized, but PCs are not recognized. In addition, some states recognize both professional entities.

All of the differences depend on which state you're in and what your profession is.

Quite frankly, if it doesn't matter to you if you're a PLLC or PC, a lot of times it's going to be easier to run your business as a traditional Corporation or a traditional LLC.
