During the bottom of the 9th inning versus the Detroit Tigers, the St. Louis Cardinals saw several pitches below the zone but Junior Valentine called them all strikes. From the dugout Oli Marmol and Joe McEwing would voice their complaints. Marmol would eventually leave the dugout and to voice his frustration and would get tossed.
