However, after facing criticism and accusations of racism and discrimination, the station, KYKC-FM, changed its tune. The incident gained attention when the fan posted the station's response on social media.

Now, KYKC-FM is playing "Texas Hold 'Em," one of the songs Beyoncé revealed during Super Bowl ads which features lyrics about hoedowns, and the music includes a banjo.
