Spoiler... It's NOT Ruined... Ok, it is, I'm not gonna use it for some cinematic production as it's not the quality I'd like it to be, but hey, here's some stuff to show you anyways. Let me show you how I rented a Nikon Zf for the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad photo train and didn't have a chance to test out the video capabilities before traveling up US Highway 550 from Albuquerque. I wanted to try out Nikon's in-camera 10-bit recording capabilities of the Zf as I had been using a Z6 with an Atomos Ninja V to record 10bit via the HDMI which both creates huge files, and a massive rig makes it hard to get on and off the train, doubly so in the winter weather. Well, my connection into ABQ caused me to arrive home so late, that I couldn't leave until early the next morning, giving me five hours of sleep and so, I drove through the remnants of the winter storm and began shooting what I thought were the correct settings to find they'd be wildly off.
