Today we're talking about Defrosting Security.

When things get iced over, how often do you leave your car / van / campervan running with the keys in the ignition? Fortunately, more modern vehicles like the ID Buzz, Multivan, electric vehicles, and even VW California campers with parking heaters can solve this problem, but it's still a security concern for most.

Leaving your keys in the ignition and popping back inside while your car defrosts is a security risk, especially in built up areas. Even if you have keyless ignition, someone could still drive away in your vehicle and continue to use it until they turn off the ignition.

Please keep this in mind while defrosting in these colder winter temperatures.
