I did the circuit hike on September 29, 2023. Started at 7:30am and back in the parking lot at 5:30pm. (I took lots of pics and video) There are about 3 places along the way where you think you are at the top…I’ve got bad news for you, you’re nowhere near the top. Keep walking!

My recommendations:
1) Don't hike if it's gonna be over 70 degrees for the high. I would say in the 50-60's is best. You will sweat like a pig.
2) Bring at least 4 bottles of water with you...preferably 6.
3) Don't bring anything with you like a heavy tripod in one hand and a gimbal in the other. (me) Both hands need to be empty so you can hoist yourself over rocks! Actually I'd recommend wearing some type of gloves. Make your backpack as light as possible.
