Here is a quick little demonstration on how to change the battery in your Jeep Cherokee key fob. Your dashboard has most likely given you a "Key Fob Battery Low" or "Change Key Fob Battery" notification and there isn't a great demonstration to change your dead or weak 2032 battery in the owners manual. I hope you found this helpful! You first need to use the mechanical / emergency key to pry the two halves apart and then you can use a flat tip screwdriver to pull out your dead 2032 battery. Clip it all back together and you're all set! No need to reprogram.
