After months of preparing we got the bus for our home build! The adventure officially begins today as we embark on the long trip so we can get a bus to convert into our home. We bought a bus to convert into a tiny home from north of us, so it gave us an opportunity to stay with our friends in Jarvis Bay before picking up our future tiny home on wheels here in NSW. The journey of converting a bus into a tiny home will surely be full of blood, sweat and tears but we can not wait to take you on this bus conversion to tiny home australia journey. We first began moving towards homesteading and living as self-sufficiently as we could while dreaming of a tiny home on wheels. But after 7 years we have finally realised that converting a bus into our home is more practical and more affordable than purchasing a trailer. The housing crisis will not stop us from building a home, in fact the school bus conversion into a home is our way forward during the housing crisis.
