I've changed my "realistic expectations" in language learning this year to fit more of my needs, desires, and curiosities that language learning gives me. Before, I was holding myself back in many ways by determining the upper limit of what I could and couldn't do in my learning. We'll discuss today how that mindset may or may not be serving us like we intend!
