Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is "determined" to get bipartisan support for aged care from the Opposition.

“It just seems to me they want to kick the can down the road,” he said.

“I am told though they are a bit more determined on that front.

“I think they are going to try harder with the Opposition on that one.

“You would hope so given the cost of aged care in this country.”
